With increasing demand for technology a need for a personal computer is must for every individual. But with the rising prices it is difficult for a common man to buy those products, so many of us prefer to buy cheap laptops or inexpensive laptops in order to satisfy our needs. But when buying we should always remember not to sacrifice quality for price. So following are some points which we should defiantly take care of when choosing an inexpensive laptop.

1.   The CPU configuration.

With enormous rate of growth of technology, the type of CPU today have reached from single processor, then dual processor and now to multi processor types. So even if you choose to buy cheap laptops, you should check for the type of CPU.

2.   The Memory configuration.

When choosing to buy cheap laptops, we should surely crosscheck about the memory. Firstly, the RAM is the part which helps to make your system work faster, so do remember to check about the amount of RAM in the laptop as more the RAM faster your processing would be done. The minimum amount of RAM now days a system should comprise of is 1GB. Now comes the Hard Disk, well this is where we store all our data, so this you should keep as per your requirement, although the minimum  amount of Hard disk memory provided these days is 80GB.

3.   The body of the laptop.

The longevity of your laptop depends a lot on its external make. So even while choosing an inexpensive laptop or refurbished laptop we should check the type of cabinet it has. Another thing we should be concern about is the screen size. The average screen size now days are 14 inches but you choose a wider or a smaller one as per your requirement. One of the most important points to consider would be the weight of the laptop. It is always better to carry a lighter laptop than a heavier one.

4.   The customization options

Sometimes we might need to upgrade certain features of our system but not all systems have this option. Hence confirming beforehand about the customization options like extra RAM ports or ports for graphics card etc is better.

5.   Compatibility features

We should confirm about the type of slots the laptop has. When choosing to buy cheap laptops we should confirm that it at least supports features like fire wire options, card slots and USB slot is a must. 

6.   Price for new battery

The first thing which generally starts getting weak in inexpensive laptops is its battery. So it’s better to keep an idea about replacement costs for the battery.
